Calling All Crows is dedicated to mobilizing musicians and fans to promote human rights. Founded by Chad Stokes and Sybil Gallagher, Calling All Crows is focused on inspiring public service and working to end violence against women around the world.

State Radio has a history of invoking its passionate fans to social action. Inspired by the music they hear on stage, fans take the band’s message, Google it, learn more, and find ways to take action. Our fans have founded STAND chapters, become AmeriCorps members, and founded NGOs around the world.

The band is dedicated to delivering more than just music. And we have come to expect more from our fans. We want them to be activists. We want them to be organizers in their own community. We want them to see the inequities in the world, gather, use their voices, demand change... and be that which they want to see in the world.

Calling All Crows was created to serve as State Radio's platform for social action. And the band leads by example. Before every show in each town on tour, members of State Radio, its road crew, and local fans unite to create change through a service project, protest, teach-in, workshop, rally, or campaign event.

Since November, the State Radio fan community has spent over 3,000 hours serving at soup kitchens and homeless shelters, raising money to purchase stoves and prevent violence against women in Sudan, removing invasive species of plants that would otherwise be a wildfire hazard, protesting Troy Davis’ right to fair trial, and working to get the International Violence Against Women Act (I-VAWA) reintroduced in Congress. And we’re only getting started.
